This week I come to you wish a few bits of info, some new releases and some acquisitions! image010

HarperCollins India, on its 25th birthday, is releasing 25 limited facsimile editions of the best books from the Queen of Crime.

These limited hardback facsimile editions have been reproduced from the first editions published between the 1920s and 1970s with the jacket and text of each title is presented exactly as they had originally appeared in hardback. Their idea is to give the reader and Agatha Christie’s fans the rare experience of encountering these much-loved books in the form in which they were first published. They aren’t that expensive either as you might imagine.

Each of these 25 collectible editions are attractively and uniformly priced at Rs399 offering booklovers a chance to build their Christie library. Available on-sale from 25th June 2017.

9781509860678Danielle Steel is back with a new book! Kate Madison’s stylish second-hand clothing shop has been a big success in New York, supporting her and her four kids since her husband’s untimely death. Now her children have grown up and are ready to forge lives of their own. They all choose to play against the odds, much to their mother’s dismay . . .

Isabelle, a dedicated attorney, is in line to make partner at her Wall Street firm, when she falls for a client she represents in a criminal case. She tells herself she can make a life with him – but can she? Julie, a young designer, meets a man who seems too good to be true and falls under his spell. She marries him quickly, gives up her job, moves to LA to be at his side, ignoring the danger signs. Is all what it seems? Justin is a struggling writer who pushes for children with his partner before they’re financially or emotionally ready. Will the strain on the relationship take too high a toll? Willie, the youngest, a tech expert, makes a choice that shocks them all, with a woman fifteen years older . . .

This is a cover reveal and I have to say that cover is all kinds of gorgeous. Something I definitely would pick up if I saw it somewhere.

I also got my hands on the Essex Serpent, FINALLY. Unfortunately it is back at home and I am in a different state altogether. I will be posting pictures of that gorgeousness when I get back. Till then, enjoy my slightly less exciting but equally pretty instragram pictures on my instagram account.

Are you planning on getting any of these? I want a few of the Agatha Christies. Hopefully the gods of the bank account allow, hehe.
